How hard is it to change the oil pump in a 2004 chrysler sebring 2.4 liter motor?
oil lite came on when car was driven for long periods. Changed oil & filter, lite went out.Now after test driving car the oil lite comes on while idling but not while driving. Oil pump?
Used to work on cars for a living but have not done any internal wrenching in years, if the pump is still internal now.
One of 2 things is the cause of low oil pressure on these: Clogged pickup screen ( drop oil pan and clean ) or bad cam bearings which unfortunately are part of the cylinder head.
