Its hard to tell whether that is a 12 or 10 cup coffee maker. What I would say is try three heaping tablespoons per pot of coffee, and then if it is too weak, add another tablespoon, if too strong, reduce by a tablespoon. Within two to three pots you will get the amount right to your liking. It takes a little experimentation. I use three heaping tablespoons per 12 cup pot. I like my coffee strong, so you may have to adjust it to your taste level.

The strength of the coffee will depend on what brand you buy and whether you start with coffee beans and grind them (like I do) or you buy the crappy canned stuff. I hate canned coffee, it is the worst coffee in the world! So I use fresh roasted french roast beans myself. Quality of bean and strength will also affect it.
