Why am I having troubles with Monster component video cables from xbox to tv?
Purchased a Monster component video hookup for xbox, I think I have it hooked up correctly, it's the only combo that seems to work. 2 reds are audio, 3 blue's are video. Colors are extremely distorted. Red's are pink, blue's are green.
You have the cables very mixed up in some way.
The video should be 1 red, 1 blue, 1 green.
The audio should be 1 red, 1 white.
Normally, the two audio are grouped together and the three video are grouped together. It's common to mix up the green and blue. Sounds like you may have done this since your blues are green. Sometimes people also get the two reds mixed up as well.
